Pioneering products on show for FCE’s new Innovation Trail

14 January 2026

Cutting edge developments in furniture production are set to go on display at the British Furniture Association’s (BFA), Furniture Component Expo (FCE) as part of the event’s all new Innovation Trail.

The trail is a specially curated showcase of original solutions that are less than 18 months old and have not been seen at the FCE before, and features products that have been selected for demonstrating real innovation that meets industry needs.

Businesses taking part, including 3D Ply, Cordeks Nonwoven, Comfortex, Ramsey Timber, Carpenter Ltd, Mobus Fabrics, Plasfoils, Vita Group, Cirtex UK and Anchor-UK, will be highlighted in the official show floorplan and guide, with floor stickers making it easy for delegates to seek out the latest developments.

The trail is sponsored by Blum UK with Matt Glanfield from Blum and John Legg, editor of F&JP selecting an overall winner who will receive marketing to the value of £1,500 from the magazine and a Fortnum & Mason hamper.

BFA MD Phil Spademan said: “For delegates looking for the next big idea that could revolutionise their business, the Innovation Trail at FCE will be a must-see.

“The expo as a whole is a fantastic opportunity to connect with businesses across the supply chain, and the Innovation Trail will shine a spotlight on those with something brand new to share.

“FCE connects the furniture industry with a network of suppliers and buyers from the UK and overseas, ensuring every conversation counts—helping delegates form meaningful partnerships and negotiate successful deals on the spot.

“It’s a chance to discover the products and services you need, explore opportunities, gain industry insight from our seminar programme and network with like-minded people across the sector all under one roof.”

Hosted by the BFA, the expo continues to go from strength to strength, with a wide range of exhibitors and a seminar programme which includes panel discussions, workshops, talks and a podcast.

FCE takes place at Telford International Centre on March 11 and 12. For more information or to register, visit: fcexpo.co.uk.
